Day 1: Ouarzazate | Skoura palm grove | Agouti | Alemdoune :
Start your 3 Days Hike in the Valley of Roses adventure from Ouarzazate with a pick-up from your hotel or riad. Travel towards the beautiful Skoura Palm Grove and visit the historic Kasbah Amridil, a great example of traditional Moroccan earthen architecture.
Continue your journey through the scenic route of the Valley of Roses, passing by Kelaat M’Gouna, well known for its rose products and annual rose festival. From here, enter deeper into the valley landscape.
Meet your local hike team, Pause for a picnic lunch, and begin a hike towards Lhout and Agouti village. Enjoy spectacular mountain views, river valleys, and peaceful natural surroundings along the way. In the late afternoon, arrive in Alemdoune, where you will stay overnight in a local villager’s house and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner with warm hospitality.
Day 2: Alemdoune | Amjgag | Aguerzega :
After breakfast, begin your second day of the 3 Days Hike in the Valley of Roses from Ouarzazate, trekking towards Amjgag through fields and traditional houses that reflect the authentic rural lifestyle of Morocco.
Leave the valley behind and walk along mountain paths, enjoying wide panoramic views, rugged terrain, and peaceful landscapes of the Atlas Mountains. Take a break and enjoy a picnic lunch in nature.
In the afternoon, arrive in Aguerzega, a quiet village on the right bank of the Mgoun River, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere far from modern city life.
In the evening, stay with a local family, enjoy traditional Moroccan cuisine prepared with your cook, and learn more about Berber culture and daily life in the mountains.
Day 3: Aguerzega | Ighrem Akdim | Boutaghrar | Dades valley :
After breakfast, depart from Aguerzega to begin the final day of your hike in the Valley of Roses, heading toward Ighrem Akdim. The trail leads you through spectacular gorges, sometimes with your feet in the water, surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery.
You will then explore the ancient village of Ighrem Akdim, known for its traditional architecture and peaceful atmosphere, nestled in the heart of the mountains. Enjoy a relaxing break with a delicious picnic lunch in nature before continuing your journey.
Continue toward the Berber village of Boutaghrar, walking along the Mgoun River and taking in the stunning landscapes of the Valley of Roses. Upon arrival in Boutaghrar, transfer to the Dades Valley for an overnight stay in a hotel or guesthouse.
