3 Days Trek Jebel Siroua from Ouarzazate itinerary
Depart early from Ouarzazate towards the Siroua massif, arriving at the Berber village of Aït Tigga, where there is an opportunity to explore its famous ancient granary (agadir). Here, you will meet your trekking team, including the cook and muleteers. After a picnic lunch, begin your hike towards the villages of Idoughagh and Aït Ighmour, following scenic mountain paths through the foothills of the Djebel Siroua.
By the end of the day, arrive at your camp base in Tissouitine, where you will settle in for the night surrounded by peaceful high-altitude landscapes.
Start early from Tissouitine and hike toward Djebel Siroua (3305 m) along the southern slope, with some easy rocky sections. Reaching the summit is optional. Stop for a picnic lunch near the top area and enjoy the mountain views. Afterward, descend through the area called Tikniwine (the twins) until you reach the shepherd camps of Iriri (about 2400 m), where you will spend the night.
After breakfast, we start an easy walk along a ridge from Azib Iriri heading north toward Amassine. The path is simple and pleasant, crossing quiet valleys with small clear streams and natural rock formations shaped by time and weather.
During the walk, the landscape stays wild and open, offering nice views and a calm atmosphere. It is a relaxed final trekking day, perfect for enjoying the scenery at an easy pace.
On arrival in Amassine, we visit the traditional village granary and take time to explore the area. Lunch is served in the village.
After lunch, we meet our driver and begin the drive back. We pass by Aït Benhaddou, then continue to Ouarzazate, marking the end of the trek.
